This year we have introduced an innovative new system to try to freshen up table tennis in the league and give variation to the 18 teams entered. The first half of the season we have split the teams into two Initial divisions of 9, where each team will play each other only once. This will give experience in a wider standard of play. The second and main part of the season the teams will be divided into 3 divisions of "Super Sixes" where teams will play each other twice, home and away. This will give most of the season where teams are in a group of more focused standard. Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each of the three divisions. Subject to team registrations for next year, at the end of this season teams will again split into a top & bottom half of nine and start again in two initial divisions. |
