Woven into the fixture list with the league matches we run a Handicap Team Competition.

This is now named the Mike Johns Memorial handicap in memory of the late Mike Johns, a leading member of our league & Deputy Chairman of  the ETTA. Winners receive a handsome trophy.

This competition is for the same teams playing in the league but played to a different format.

Its a straight knock-out, and each player is allocated a handicap banding based on his performance in the normal league. The match is is best of nine games of singles, each being the best of three sets up to 21 pts starting from a handicap based on the bands of each player.
